DOUGLAS GARAY
Coming from a supportive, musical family, bassist Douglas "Doogels" Garay is a life-long musician, from singing as a child in his church choir to studying music at the U. of North Texas before becoming a music student for life. He approaches the bass as a rhythm and as a melodic instrument, and is striving to be Tom Goss's counterpoint. Music being his only true passion, his taste varies through all genres, but is most influenced by the melody of David Gilmour, the versatility of Tony Levin, and magical improvisation of Phil Lesh. |

This picture was taken in San Francisco at a blood drive Phil Lesh was helping to promote. Phil says it's important to give blood and become an organ donor.

Eli now makes his home in San Francisco's' East Bay where he continues to pursue his musical dream. |

THOMAS PERRY
Born November 6 1978, Tom is the youngest of the group (and definatly the shortest). Born in Michigan, but raised since early on in a small town in central California called Madera. He started playing drums in fourth grade. He continued on through junior high, and on through high school playing under the direction of two of the biggest influences of his life. Nate Grisby & Meryl Wamhoff III. |
Thomas Perry cont.
After two years of doing what he loves (teaching) Tom decided (as did many who worked under the administrator for the high school) to leave his position as percussion instructor and get a normal job. After being the assistant manager for two different paint companys for two and a half years he was sick of not doing what he loved. So he quit one day and moved to the bay area to persue music. He currently manages a music store and gives lessons in the bay area. He credits his playing today to some of his greatest influences like, Omar Hakim, Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, Stewart Copeland, Aaron Comess, Terry Bozzio, and of course the man, Nate Grisby. (top picture taken during a performance with Oakland dj Koo-C in S.F. 2000, right picture is Tommy doing the other thing he loves, playing bass)
