Lemurian is:
Douglas "Doogels" Garay -- BASS
Tom Goss -- GUITAR
Eli "the Puma" Aichler -- VOCALS
Tommy "the Hammer" Perry DRUMS/PERCUSSION
While visiting Mt. Shasta, Doogels became interested with the local folklore, including the race of super-beings called the Lemurians, whose shortest citizens are said to stand 6'8", exactly eye-to-eye with Doogels. Shortly after returning to the Bay Area, a chance meeting between Doogels and Tom Goss occurred at a local show. Tom introduced Doogels to Eli, where the search began for a gifted drummer. Less than two weeks before Lemurian's debut performance, Drummer Tom Perry entered the scene. The rest, as they say, is history.

What is a Lemurian?
A Lemurian is a being of northern California folklore that is said to be a descendant of the city of Atlantis, which was located on the lost continent, Mu. They're magical, mystical beings that glow in the dark, appear and disappear at will, and stand about six feet, eight inches tall. They live *in* Mt. Shasta, in cities about two miles under the mountain's surface, where their walls are painted in sunshine, and they sleep on pillows of gold.
